Luigi Ladaga Collection

Luigi Ladaga was a national leader of the PSI, deputy mayor of Taranto, national president of the League for Local Autonomies, vice president of ISVEIMER, collaborator of Giacomo Mancini at the Ministry for the South and his cabinet chief during his term as mayor of Cosenza, councilor for Institutional Relations of the Province of Cosenza.

In the summer of 2004, the MAON was enriched by an important donation of contemporary art by the collector Luigi Ladaga (Cosenza, 1924 - Diamante 2006).

Reformist, autonomist, guarantor, southerner, he was also a coherent, sharp man, endowed with profound culture and artistic passion, a friend of intellectuals and artists.

His collection includes, among others, works of art by: Mario Ceroli, Mario Schifano, Lucio Del Pezzo, Nicola Carrino, Umberto Mastroianni, Mario Persico, Carlo Alfano.
